Ok, so off the top of my head, these are the really huge ones...
Mandalay Bay
Luxor
Excalibur
MGM Grand
Park MGM
Aria
Cosmopolitan
Bellagio
Caesar’s Palace
Mirage
Treasure Island
Venetian
Palazzo
That’s 13. I’d strike Manadaly Bay because I think there’s something weird with how rooms are counted, with the Four Seasons and Delano on that property, given how the question was worded. No point in taking chances. Take off TI and maybe Cosmo as well and I think we’re golden.
The only large ones I can think of that are not on your list are Flamingo and Circus Circus. I am only in Vegas once a year, so you probably know better than me which hotels might be set up quirky so that they don't count because they are actually broken up into separate entities. So, bold the ones you like/trust the best..
The reason for the funky wording in the question is because Wikipedia considers Venetian/Palazzo to be one hotel. Same with Wynn/Encore, City Center, and MGM Grand/Signature.
I did a little extra research to get the room count when those hotels are split up (as they should be).
Thanks to everyone for playing the inaugural auction game.
I've got some more ideas for questions if more people are interested. Or I'd be up for teaming up with someone if anyone else wants to throw some questions around.
Ggs all. Thx for running bolt. Well played TN. I think we got lucky in ditching the tough ones and getting the ones where we felt ok. Other than the airport one I really didn’t help that much. I think you could have got there on your own. Lol. Anyway, Team Canada did ok. Lol
Bolt. I can run one of these so you can play but probably would not be until next week or the week after.
Would definitely be up for playing again, fav game so far (although maybe a different category to US based stuff? A.K.A european - make it harder for everyone else )
