Well, I don't get a lot of the typical New Zealandy views you saw with Gadarene, but Wellington is an interesting place. It has more restaurants per capita than [UNDRAFTED], so I won't be hurting for great food choices. Plus, we have great beaches:

I'd be interested to know how much all the flights and hotels would cost.

I mean there can't be too many direct flights from Tuvalu to Vladivostok. I'd imagine a bunch of planes would have to be chartered.

I mean, "direct flights" is a bit fancy

If you build in the possibility of one or two layovers between destinations, I bet I could finance flights and comfortable hotels for all seven people's itineraries for $125,000 at most; probably less

So it's funny: I asked my girlfriend and a consultant friend of hers to rough out how much it would cost to send seven people around the world like this to 24 destinations in 24 weeks

He came up with $100,000

She came up with $150,000

My from-the-ass estimate of $125,000 feels vindicated

just looked up a week at the four seasons in the maldives. the four seasons aint cheap, but it's not the highest. it was 12k for a week just for hotel. that was for late october. i'm not sure which times of year cost more and less.

like I guarantee you I can find one-way flights between Tallinn and Rome, or Copenhagen and Lisbon, for much less than $372 each
