There's a lot to do and so this is how I want to share out my 7 days:

Day 1
There's the old town to see complete with market places, local shops and local food


Day 2
Let's spend the day hiking in the foothills of the Andes



The Night of day 2 I'll be exhausted and ready to sleep anywhere which is a good thing since I'm getting on the night bus and heading out to the Uyuni salt flats.
Day 3



I might even be convinced to do one of these silly tourist photos since perspective seems to get messed up:



The same evening I'll get the bus back to La Paz and will arrive in the morning of Day 4 which will be another rest day where I do nothing much except sleep, eat, drink, go for a stroll and take in a sunset


Day 5 - Day 7
I'll be partaking in the 3 day Pampas tour on the Amazon River. Can't go to South America and not see the Amazon. Lots to take in and lots of animals to see.

So I'm in the Yucatan. I didn't get to see Chichen Itza and I don't think I'll get to see the caves in the East but I can still see ancient Mayan buildings

I'll spend a couple of days heading out to visit all that stuff and then spend the rest of the time chilling out in the city of Campeche by the sea.

I was in La Paz and didn't get to go to the salt flats We flew in from Santa Cruz and then my wife got really altitude sick and we couldn't go anywhere for days and then we had a flight out somewhere and couldn't go.

We had been in Santa Cruz for a week and went to the airport to fly to La Paz. Got stuck in horrendous traffic and we were sure we had missed it only to get there and realise we'd had the wrong time on our watches for the whole week and it was actually an hour earlier than we thought. csb
