Sorry for holding the draft up again and sorry for just picking and dashing again. Life is pretty hectic at the moment and I've barely any time for POG at all at the moment

thanks for understanding and will do my best to get caught up sooner rather than later

filthy, I hope you're planning on some sort of writeup or narrative for your trips, because I'm interested to see it. (I think the last one you did was Seychelles?)

the funny thing about my trip so far is that, with the exception of Japan/New Zealand, I'm pretty sure I stay on a fairly continuous line gradually sloping west-northwest within a reasonably narrow latitude band

after California/Japan/New Zealand, the various sections of my trip are pleasingly self-contained and make a lot of sense holistically as realistic vacation itineraries (albeit for someone who has all the leisure time in the world, of course):

Vietnam/Laos/Thailand/Myanmar

-hop to the other side of India-

Kerala/Kashmir

-hop to Iran-

Shiraz/Kakheti

-hop over Turkey-

Greek Islands/Macedonia/Montenegro/???

of course, some of that is a function of accident in some picks getting sniped before me (Beirut, Botswana) that would have made my path look much more herky-jerky, but i still find it pretty cool

maybe one day i can do an extended leg of this trip for real

So the plan is to go to these cities & visit fashion models? Wander the streets looking for them? Hope to get your picture taken with one?

You don't have unlimited funds, filthy; that proviso is just so people don't have to worry about bargain-hunting or w/e.

But w/e.

Why is Italy a **** hole iyo?

Crossing the Prime Meridian into Bordeaux, France (0.5792 W). Also claiming a nearby area in SW France, from Perigueux to Foix, as I'm going to follow the Tour de France for most of the week, including a couple of mountain stages in the Pyrenees.

yeah I don't get that pick either

in all honesty I've always thought France was the most overrated country in Europe as a holiday destination

maybe being just over the channel from it doesn't help though
