Another Around-The-World trek (RISK style) - Page 9

I don’t know about everyone else but I’m not a fan of you voicing your opinion on peoples moves this much. It could influence people and ultimately if we all try the same thing it’ll be like you are playing yourself multiple times lol.

I think it’s fun for us to lol at people sometimes but for me part of the fun of this type of game is trying to figure it out as you go, and enjoy making dumb moves that you figure out later.

Just my view and obviously your game and if nobody else cares or does like it, will be fine.

I might say good or bad but I never say why I think it's good or bad. People might misinterpret my comments totally.
That's why in the rules I did say that you could say if another person's move was the correct one (in their opinion).
However, if there are any others who think we should keep our comments to ourselves: I'll go along with that.

That's right.

I did say "risky" when I saw your move. I should have just said "bad". "Risky" might have tipped off others.

But when I was doing the map changes I looked closer at your situation and I think you've hit a dead end on the first move.

For those who went to the Americas first, your free water move comes later. It's on your last move when you go from Africa back to 0,0.
So, in that way there is no advantage or disadvantage for picking Africa first or the Americas first.

Since the cat's out of the bag as to why eleanor60's move was not good, I can reveal that JMurder3 made the same mistake. However, he submitted a revised move right at the (literally) last minute to save himself.

Here's an update on those who haven't moved yet:

FerencL and xander biscuits are just bidding their time.

eyebooger said he'd be on vacation til the 2nd but we didn't hear from him on the 4th. Has he forgotten about this or is he also bidding his time? Let us know if you're out there eyebooger.

iraisetoomuch was a little short on cash at the start (less then $1M) but he's now up to $26M. We might be hearing from him soon.

Nicholasp27 said he's not going to play but he can change his mind. However, his entry is free for anyone else who wants it. Just let us know.
