Hello and welcome back to POG, for most of you after many years.


This is the 2006 Reunion game, appropriately themed after the very year in question.

Please be sure to re-familiarize yourself with the Rules and Etiquette of werewolf and POG etiquette. While I am generally quite lenient with mod powers, I will not hesitate to modkill anyone who clearly infringes on those most basic and important principles.

Deadlines

SOD: 8AM Eastern
EOD: 10PM Eastern
NAs deadline: 7AM Eastern

Claiming

Since the roleset is public, (see post #2) claiming your role is allowed. However, claiming, hinting or discussing anything regarding any flavor, event or character in your Role PM is strictly prohibited.

Do not otherwise quote any part of your Role PM or mod communication.

Deadposting

A single, contentless deadpost is permitted.

Subs

Please try to make at least one substantial post per day. If you go a day without posting with no prior warning, you risk being subbed out or modkilled.

Do not discuss subs/modkills in the game thread.

Questions

Questions during the game should be PM'd to me. If I think it is necessary to provide an answer/clarification in the game thread, I will.

This is a Vanilla+ game with an open roleset.

Roles in the Game

Wolves (5)

Godfather Seer - Every night can choose to learn the exact role of a player or to peek as a Villager. After 3 uses of GF, reverts to permanent Seer.
Roleblocker - Prevents target from using a power
Vigilante - Target a player for death
Backup - Assumes the first Wolf PR role that dies before n2. Otherwise, becomes permanently Vanilla on d3.
Redirector - Target a player to have actions used against you redirected towards

Village (18)

Seer - Learn the affiliation of a player
JOAT (Jack of all Trades) - Four 1-time uses of Vig, Roleblock, Angel, Peek
Angel - Target a player to protect from death
Tracker/Watcher - Targets one player and learns who they visit and who visits them
Vigilante - Every night starting n1, target a player for death
Backup - Assumes the first Village PR role that dies before n2. Otherwise, becomes permanently Vanilla on d3.
Vanilla Villager (x12)

-All actions are night actions
-Village seer is affiliation only. Wolf seer is full role
-The only targetable actions that can be performed on n0 are peeks.
-Unsubmitted powers will not be randomized.

Nah. Luckay isn't impossible to read. Zurvan a tad tougher but Nich is the one who I find inscrutable. There are a few people on this list whose metas I have zero clue about but otherwise this should be fun

I have to admit I was hoping for something with a little more pizazz.

Also, dmk, because he's here and if he's a wolf he'll own us.

We have a bunch of confirmed villagers from the mass claim, seer peeks get us a few more, and we ensure that we don't vig or peek a confirmed villager.

Probably the way to do it though would be to just claim power role but not the exact role.

I haven't spent a ton of time thinking about this, though.

part of me would be sad if we could mathematically solve this d1, but the other part finds it hilarious that we got all of these people together at the same time from so long ago and...we just broke it...
