So there's 2 former mods in the Walrus & one running it? Interesting.

Tbh, if it makes that much difference in your life one way or the other, you prob either take it too seriously, or moderate the wrong forums.

ok well let's save some time here and jump to the chase. not sure if Bloo is aware or not, but his song was used in an Apple commercial recently, so as a result i've seen/heard it approximately 5 billion times this year, therefore i kinda hate it with a fiery passion now, ergo you're in trouble here, unless Aksdal's song sucks. otherwise it would have been a fine submission tho.

interesting matchup here. two different kinds of metal represented, but neither are really my cup of tea necessarily. so what kind of metal do i like? i dunno, maybe i don't actually like metal that much. actually confirmed i don't really listen to it anymore.

the RoF song is very skilled and technical which is appealing, but the symphonic aspects are neat, but not so much the glam/dramatic components. don't really know how to describe that so well, but listen and you might get what i mean.

Aksdal's At the Gates song is probably more like what i'd normally listen to by choice, hard, straight-forward metal, but the vocals aren't so appealing. not terrible though. close call, tough call. almost too close to call.

Yeah, there's more moderators than posts in a week in that forum.

As of about 2 days ago I had read every single post ever made in that entire forum. Pretty sad.

Not sure if people from the forum just communicate through other means now, or it just never really caught on.
