ok well i'm quite familiar with both these songs. both artists were mentioned in my tl;dr post as ones i like, and both song come from albums i adore, so nice work Pandaing here!

Spoiler:
well we can probably save some time here, i like Jimmy Jazz ok, but is it in my top-5 favourite songs from London Calling? i dunno. IT'S SURE NO RUDIE CAN'T FAIL, AMIRITE!?!

Spoiler:
The Clan of Wu-Tang are not to be trifled with Falconhoof, c'mon man!
i thought that we were all clear on that fact.

Spoiler:
oh yeah the Beatles category, this can probably be done quickly too.
Spoiler:
hmm, SFF was originally supposed to be on "Sgt. Pepper's LHCB", interesting. did not know that. anyway, is it a song i know and like? why yes, yes it is. well chosen. i'm not like a massive Beatles fan, there's probably lots of stuff that i don't really care for, but yeah i can't hate on this for sure.
Spoiler:
and on the other side, "Rain". i don't really know this song afaik (might have heard it before though), was released as a B-side to the "Paperback Writer" single.

Quote:
Both songs were recorded during the sessions for the album Revolver though neither appears on that album
hmm, veryinteresting.jiff
and interesting choice, quite like this song as well

Spoiler:
OK MAYBE THIS WON'T BE SO QUICK AFTER ALL
Spoiler:
ok well i've listened to Rain a bunch of times now, it's a fine snog, but it's just not enough to dethrone SFF. i applaud the ambitious choice though. (lotta good that does you, amirite)

Spoiler:
oh boy, now these are gonna be some funerals!

i can only assume you're both planning on dying young in extreme sports accidents or something? or you're just so awesome that your funeral will be eschewing traditional etiquette? well whatever the case, on to the songs...

Spoiler:
#1: **** IT GUYS, LET'S DANCE!!!
IT'S WHAT FALCONHOOF WOULD HAVE WANTED, TRUST ME ON THIS!!!

ok yeah not a bad song, weird fit though i gotta say.

Spoiler:
#2: oh ok, it's a different kind of DMX jam, thought that might be the case.
oh and he decided to sample a super duper well known single for this, HOW CLEVER

Spoiler:
alright whatever, now for some real time savings. i looked into the song a bit, and i just don't really see the fit for the Gorillaz song, so DMX kinda wins by default. if i've missed something here and failed as a judge, then oh well, wouldn't be the first time.

2-1 JM3
