well, well, well. what do we have here? not at all shocking that this cat was crushed all the way out of the park. deepest one in the game, amirite? didn't know either of these songs afaik, but impressed by both.

and the Woodpigeon song also has one of the best titles that i've seen in a while, and the video in this is neato as well. the song itself is pretty much up one of my typical alleys, a quiet indie joint. but then again, the 1979 is pretty much up one of my other alleys as a straight-forward cool rocker. it also sucks because these songs are rather difficult to compare, grr.

i was thinking that jazz was an interesting choice here, then i saw the category, lol. anyway, though i am no jazz aficionado, i kinda like it. if only i wasn't so lazy and would try to get more into it or something.

this lady singer is pretty good too, don't mind this at all. hmm ok, she's a jazz singer too i see. nice little jazz vs jazz showdown here. sorry i can't really speak to this at a level higher than i currently am, yes i realize that this writeup sucks (as do most of them probably), so let's just move on.

Pretty strong entry by Aksdal esp considering the categories. His hip hap tracks were def better than average.

Bowie confirmed GOAT. Not surprising Henrik gets that wrong considering already butchered the scoring of Swedish glamrock GOATs.
