if you had said something closer to this from the beginning i could have saved myself a lot of words, because it's way less internally inconsistent (or at least apparently so) than the line you chose to take

but it still raises the question: have you had any experience with a monstr wolf game?* what basis do you have to believe that somebody suddenly posting "good" reads that reveal "good" processes is more likely to be a villager, other than the general heuristic that people who demonstrate that they're thinking about things more deeply are more likely to be villas? can you agree that there are players who put more effort into showing "process" and making "good" reads when they rand wolf than when they're villa? do you have a concrete reason to believe that monstr is not one of these players, even accepting your own premises?




*i think the answer to this question is yes for me even beyond FIFA, but honestly everything is blurring together at this point and my read on monstr isn't contingent on him deviating from an observed baseline on way or the other anyway

I'm having a hard time believing that was a joke even though it's been explained to me as a joke. The point of the post was to say you're villager-y. The first line is meant to make the other person feel stupid for thinking you're shook like 1 hour into the game. The second line is meant to make you seem villager-y because you feel that you look like you don't care about monstr's pressure, but you actually do. The third line is something I actually use with some villagers - read: the good ones - because they shouldn't care very much about the game state compared to their reads-making process.

So your post certainyl didn't seem like a joke at all, and even now that I "know" it was a joke it doesn't seem like it was.

The way he did it seemed hella forced/awkward though.

Gad I don't even know if I've ever played against monstr when he's a wolf, what I know is this is one way that I make villager reads and I don't need a player-specific "concrete example" to compare to when it's this obvious we're thinking the same things

If you can't make your point in 2 sentences then you probably don't have a great point
