if people would stop calling names and flinging mud for one second in the last three days and started thinking maybe we'd have won

i like mets, he hasn't been rude to me personally at all

but the guy needs to man up. if it wasn't for mets, i probably would've just conceded but i saw him self-destruct in our earlier game and trusted myself to be able to push his buttons and get him to start screaming at anyone that tried to lynch me even though it was obvious i was to be lynched.

i've played two games on this site now and mets has been the absolute worst player in both of them. so after those performances telling other people to eat a dick or calling them morons is just dumb.

my first PM to my wolf team was that i hope we're never NKing mets unless we're sure he's the seer. we didn't and it paid off.

Fwiw Milk, that's a terribly inaccurate view on Mets, he's a very strong villager, but we all have our off games, and you've apparently seen two?

I do agree he's over-reacting about this loss, when the blame is definitely partially in his hands, and not solely in Silman's or anyone elses.

also i don't blame this game on you at all, it was a mix of good wolf play and collective fail by the village. but the fact is you manages to keep me from getting lynched this game and keep zaya from getting lynched last game and never said anything like "damn, i f'ed up, sorry guys" but instead called other people out on their mistakes in a rude fashion. Phil Hellmuth comes to mind

In the end, the network execs were left with Gummy Bears, Trollkins and The Smurfs. 3 networks, 3 cartoons... easy enough, right? CBS picked-up Trollkins for a great deal. Plus the exec fondly remembered Mimi's collection of troll dolls on The Drew Carey show and just KNEW they'd be the next big thing. NBC and ABC fought over Gummy Bears, with NBC winning in the end. ABC decided rather than pick-up Smurfs to keep the news for now. To be honest, the little blue dudes gave him the heebie-jeebies and he was convinced Smurfette was a slut, I mean there are SOOOOOOOO many of them and just one of her, right? And it is supposed to be a family network.

NBC was able to pull in advertising from Bubble Yum. All CBS managed to get was Head & Shoulders, maybe if the trolls washed their hair once in a while it wouldn't stick straight up. ABC lost out this round...

nothing to worry about. it's just a game and we ended up losing this one.

Big group hug for mets imo. He genuinely did put a lot of time into this game, you can see it from his post count, but he out-thought himself this time and it didn't work out.

I'm not sure which mets i love more, the full-tilt mets we had in this game, or the quiet calm pokerstars mets we had a few months ago, but everyone should lay off mets. I'm going to.

He's probably more mad with himself for not sticking to the level 1 than he is with everyone else.

If I were to tell everyone that I was god's gift to golf, and then went out and shot 200 I'd expect to be jeered, ridiculed etc.

So wait, let me get this straight:

Silman (a villager) snapvotes mets (the other villager) at f3 to lose the game. And this is somehow mets' fault.

I don't think I'm reading this correctly.

HiFi - I don't think this is entirely Mets' fault by any means, but the big mistake was made at F5 by basically all the remaining villagers except Telco who got lynched, and Mets had a big part in that mistake. I think it's also easier to cast blame at him when he's constantly telling us how terrible our mistakes are when we make them (even if they're not really mistakes but he thinks they are) - it makes it far more likely that he's going to get slammed when he subsequently makes a mistake that contributes to the village losing.

Regardless, I don't want to get too much into this because it's a game, we move on, we learn from it, etc. I don't think it's fair to give him all the blame by any stretch, but it's certainly not as clear cut the other way as your post makes it sound imo

I followed this game a bit, but certainly didn't read every single post. You make some good points. But as someone who didn't play, when I read some of the posts in the postgame after having read what actually transpired, it isn't evident that the former logically follows from the latter.

Milk, nicely done .. it doesn't matter who played poorly for the villagers, for you not to give up in that spot when enough villagers were hard-cleared and seer-hunt cleared for the game to be a lock and still win is impressive.

I cant believe Milk won this. Didn't really follow it closely near the end but I was about 90% sure the village was going to win after day 2 & thought it was a lock after the Dean nk.
