I mean is it something beyond the scope of I likely can't read you well enough to risk mislynching you day 1 since you're so valuable as a villager?

Because I do subscribe to that theory, and for that I likely won't be lynching you today. Other than that, not really sure what's there.

No this isn't what I meant, I'll give you the real brief explanation though

First off, I'm almost certainly not getting lynched day 1, regardless of my role.

Secondly, as a villager I've been dying n1 > 50% of the time since I started playing again, which is really ridiculous but w/e. If wolves see villagers giving me pressure and thinking I'm a wolf it significantly reduces the odds of me getting nightkilled early, especially if I'm not on the right track wrt the game.

Now if I'm a wolf I'm obviously not getting nightkilled, but by pressuring me early you've basically given me an excuse for being alive later than I otherwise should be allowed to be

Because of all this - if you think I'm really a wolf the correct thing to do is ignore me and hope the wolves kill me, then if they don't try to wagon me on a day when I actually have a chance of getting lynched. The only quality reason to push me on day 1 if you're a villager is if you actually think I'm a villager and want to discourage the wolves from killing me, but I'm pretty sure that's not what you're doing here

As an addendum to the previous post if I'm a wolf putting early pressure on me also gives me a great excuse to make the thread all about me - which is something I almost always strive to do as a wolf because I know I'm not usually living until endgame and it lets my teammates hide

Meh I feel like you're kinda missing my point. My point is that pressuring me really early makes it far more likely that I eventually get mislynched when I'm a villager and serves basically no purpose when I'm a wolf. The only reason this is true is because of how often I draw the n1 kill. If wolves stop killing me so often n1 then it will stop being true, but until they do I promise it's all true
