That's a pretty good description of what it means. How many of those people on Myro's wagon were actually enthusiastic about lynching him? It seems to me like most of them were just along for the ride, myself included.
Both the Zork and Myro lynches felt way too passive, low hanging fruit. If the day is someone suggests a candidate and the near universal reaction is "eh, sure, why not, could be a wolf I guess", followed by voting them en masse, you're killing a villager every time. It's happening again today, just "eh, I guess Chris is logical next step, what can we do except kill him and hope for the best?".
