well, I showed my thought process pretty elaborately on all the stuff that actually has been proven to be correct through math (ie. the vig situation) and so many people thought that it was wrong that it wasnt worth continuing on about. When a fact cant even be accepted as such why would I explain anything in depth when it is so early and only ~rand or maybe fractionally better than ran? If someone refuses to acknowledge that 5+5=10 I am not gonna explain 3d calculus to them.

Yes but posting your thought process allows us, as a group to move further away from reads being random to a state where our reads get more and more accurate.

We've played a bunch together, but, IMO, are god awful at reading each other. At the very least Im pretty bad at reading him. In general, I will never lynch him early as I think I get a better idea on him later in the game. He will pretty staunchly defend his plays even if they were 'wrong' (whatever that means), so dont take that as an alignment indicator.

Phel will probably post a bunch, and he will probably get into an argument with someone that will go down a very long tunnel and you will think hes evil for it, but the thing is, Phel just does that.

I do and we're not in disagreement here. I say both are on blast right now.

It's the same mechanics on SRK, but played differently. There's a lot of discussion on who would be a good push in the mafia conversation during the day as well as night, and how vote distribution should go for mafia, and warning people to lay off of certain things.

So it's easier to tell who is mafia and who is civ by post frequencies there.

On here, with the PM system vBulletin has, I'd say it'll be harder, because it's easier to click off of Skype and back to the thread than it is to go into a PM inbox then come back out, or keep two tabs open and hitting refresh on each.

But history in these games can't be ignored. If mafia sees a tactic works on this crowd, they'd be braindead not to try to abuse it further.
