Remedys gives me wolf chills with each post. I want some rational explanation for why people are reading him as a villager "This is his first game" isn't a read. It means nothing.

And bhuber being present and not caring at all about either eod, how does this not bother anyone but me? He alluded to having something on his mind he was about to unleash eod1 and then guess what? He didn't say anything. Eod2 possibly even worse. He makes it known he's around. There's a lot of discussion. He does not comment on the situation. In fact, he doesn't vote. This is who we should lynch.

bhuber

UAW, this is addressed to you.

You need to post more than 4 times and try to interact with anyone around at the time. On d1 you did this to some extent. Over a three day weekend you manage to contribute nothing at all. How is that possible? You just can't be alive in the event this game goes deep, I hope you see this and make the necessary adjustments.

Surely you have some questions.

Something. Right?

I mean, what is this..?

I haven't thought much about Hoya's role all game btw, kind of hoping I can continue to do this and not be concerned about it. Obviously if I need to at some point I will. I don't think I could get much of a read unless he was trying to lynch me and I could prod him for reasons.

Lets not maj this today.

No reason I can see how that is a good idea.

I don't know why but for some reason I had this game divided into one wolf from the Hoya/wn/vix/mets/Sun group (active vets) and one from the bhuber/charry/VR/ remedys/UAW group (noobs or UTRs). It's becoming so much more likely it's two from the latter.

Still we can't lynch straight down that line and auto-win. And if there's a wolf in the first group, we're in huge trouble. So let's work the problem, people.

And of course I know Sun and mets are dead....that's just the way I was thinking about the two wolves since yesterday

Why would you create a list, and lynch down the line for any reason? That's not how you play ww. Vote who you think is a wolf. The next day, vote for who you think is a wolf taking into account the previous day. Etc ad infinitum. I don't understand the desire people have for "POE" or whatever. It is terrible to decide in advance what to do, with less information. Why even think that way? Makes no sense. Yet every game that's what happens.

I've argued the same thing before vix and I agree with your point, but it's also natural to look at the player field and figure out how many mislynches you have, who you don't want to make must-lynch, etc.

Just going from the wolfiest up doesn't get you there as often as thinking about the overall dynamic imo.

Sidenote: posting less in slow games is great. I've enjoyed this one much more than ~all of them I ever played and keeping my distance from continuously checking in is certainly helping. Usually they drive me bananas. But this is great. This is how I'm playing slow games from now on.

UAW

It could still be him and remedys (two bussers on gtp), him and VR (she called his opening "smells like victory" post villagery, pfft), him and hubers (they're gonna bus if it's them), him and charry (see previous), him and anyone really.

I've been over eager when I'm around, but I definitely like being able to read every post even though I've had a few long periods of afk.

That's a good way to think about it as a wolf, obv. Thinking about the macro is fine that's not what I'm talking about. I just said above how it would be awful if this game went deep and UAW was still alive posting 5x a game day. Its not a good situation. That's what I think today. We have more "room for error" now. If we continue to make mistakes not so much. Its very important in later days to reevaluate who you were clearing that is still alive.

What I'm saying is the harm in POE thought tends to ignore that process. Later days become lazier days where many players are still working off of their 3 day old POE list as opposed to reevaluating the game with more information. What happens is if players follow their old POE is the wolves are able to make more accurate night kills and understand the types of lines they need to take in their posts. A more vigilant and dynamic process keeps them on their toes.

VR seems villagery to me when she's posting. I tend to get a bit worried until she comes in and speaks her mind. I have her as a villager. Decent level of confidence in that.

One thing is I don't believe she's been present for any eod - could be wrong but think this is right. Eod is a difficult spot for wolves. Its easy to join in discussion throughout the day - I mean it is for me at least - but at eod when you know who is going to flip what and the mood is much more tense it isn't so easy. There's a reason I always tend to out myself as a wolf around eod, especially chaotic ones. As a villager you are just in the moment, as a wolf you're always thinking long term implications.*

* By you I mean me but I assume people agree. Like, as a wolf I'm thinking "what should my opinion be on this lynch, how does what I do here effect the longer game for my team." As a villager its just "someone has to die here in a minute, so-and-so seems wolfy I'm gonna see if I can get rid of them." There's no long term process because I'm in the dark. Don't know my team. Don't know what the implications of my positions are, stuff like that.

Ok we're not lynching Hoya today. UAW needs to show up and post.

I'm happy VR got into the game last night, but she'd probably still be my 2nd best lean, with remedys moving up.
