As long as there were 4 players or more remaining, the wolves could pm me a post where a player is blatantly claiming or hinting their role, and guess what that role is. They could use this ability twice per game and it wasn't tied to a specific wolf. They guessed right on Thenothing and wrong on Vaya.

Also, it didn't work on masons or seers (which we were told in the PM)

Nofear was modding the game at that point but my understanding is that you had hinted at the vig kill and then voted the person that claimed vig, which they thought was you claiming vig.

Big thanks to Nofear3838 for co-modding. His advice during the game was invaluable since I needed a lot of help with modding decisions. He also spent a lot of time handling the thread while I was away. Thanks also to Timelady and Gabethebabe for their very valuable contributions.

Why were the wolves given a chance to kill me then? I guess I'm glad they tried me and whiffed but come on.

If a wolf had claimed village JOAT would I have been allowed to vote them?

The reason I didn't belive vader btw was because we obviously didn't have a full-time or half-vig on n1 and the wolves didn't get a vig either, and given the size of the game I figured I had my shot, the wolves had their anti-claim bonus and that was it as far as killing power.

I don't think it would have gone through in any case. We kind of blew that chance, but it did serve as a big deterrent for others claiming, so at least we had that. This was the day after neither of our kills went through, and TN just stone cold outted smiglet. We were a tad rustled.

Her prize was a +1 voting power for that day. The prizes were pretty small since I didn't want them to affect the game too much. Your play was probably fine considering that OD never claimed her prize and it was reasonable to think it would be a night action.

Oh, and Happy's internet went out right after the game started. He PM'd the day after duck subbed in to say he had gotten it back and to invite him into wolf chat if he was still alive.

They weren't really. I wouldn't have killed you even if they did guess you were the village JOAT, as you didn't blatantly hint or claim.

Just like not believing a JOAT claim doesn't mean you're hinting at your role (it's obv subjective but I was never going to let the kill go through for that lolpost)

There was also another twist to this game. I had two captains select the teams, and they then were able to place their players in any role. They picked the roles after the draft so they weren't aware of the opposing captains role assignments. I'm not going to out the whole draft order because I don't want anyone to feel bad about being picked last, but the top two picks were Domer and Insanity. TL was villas and Gabe was wolves.
