First of all, I’d like to thank Westerlund News for having me on this evening.

Great job today lynching SMIGLET! I think the village is playing very well together right now and I hope that continues. SMIGLET, you played well but sometimes wolves just get caught in a mishmash due to mechanics.

I commented on this before, but gambit/happy (now Duck) opening the game with very light banter without either making a read on the other is a bit strange. I wouldn’t say it makes them w/w but I think it certainly increases the chance that at least one of them is a wolf.

Vader calls out gambit for a wolfy start. Happy quotes the post but does not comment on vader’s read of gambit.

Tehvader then calls both gambit and happy wolves and vix villa!

Never’s opening post inclues: “Happy seemed wolfy from the 1st few posts.. but after reading the last few i'm thinking villager now..” WTF?!? This was after happy had made his grand total of 10 posts for d1/d2 (he would never post again after that opening salvo) all of which were complete fluff. Never really needs to explain this tomorrow.

Given the opening fluff sequence between gambit and happyDuck, and the weirdo “read” by Never on happyDuck above, I suspect there are a MINIMUM of 2 wolves in gambit/happyDuck/never

Vader to Never: “That's true, btw I find it kind of strange that you didn't mention me at all since you gave thoughts on happy/gambit. Why didn't you?” yup

Never goes after vix for a shallow reason

#54 by never – seems like he’s really going out of his way to differentiate between his reads on happy and gambit when I don’t see anything to really differentiate their posts thus far. They both opened by fluffing one another with talk about ME the video game. Why read happy as a villager and have a “50/50” read on gambit? That makes no sense to me.

On that note, that reminds me that I had a similar feeling w/r/t fnord when he opened the game. Iirc he made a read either happy or gambit without mentioning the other, which seemed weird to me since again I sort of view their openings as part and parcel. Doesn’t mean they’re both wolves but I don’t see calling one a villager and the other a wolf/neutral/no read for their respective openings.

#100 – fnord calls out never for “fare enough” not as wolfy as I remember and looks pretty good for him

#101 – fnord calls vader villagy, looks good for him

#104 – more evidence for fnord being villa if never flips wolf

#105 – “I already warned people of my errors” don’t like this in conjunction with his previous posts of trying to play it off. If you’re villa why is that an error? Why do you not suspect fnord of pushing you for a thin reason?

#110 – ianaww quotes both vader and fnord calling out never for the fair/fair enough tell and says “Why do you think Never is wolfin?” WTF, they just said why!

#117 – Mac with his first villa leans post of the game. If you think never is villa, do you not suspect vader and/or fnord for pushing him?

#137 – Never: “I get the feeling wolf HQ have me pinned as an easy mis-lynch.” But then lists vader (who went after him for “fare enough”) as a villager, McAvoy (who listed him as a villager) as a wolf, and does not list fnord (who had him as a wolf)

#161 – my first post! Interesting now insofar as the only person we know for a fact that I read correctly was tehvader, and because later ianaww will say he likes it and the case of ianaww v. gambit will be fought at least a couple of times over this post

Given the above and the subsequent fight between ianaww and gambit I do not think they are w/w

Ok I’m running out of steam here and kind of drunk so this might be all you get. I do think there is some pretty great information so tomorrow if I’m not around at least humor me and pretend to read this post and take it to heart.

So tomorrow I would take a really hard look at never. Between what I've posted here and how his handled his "roleblock" that he won from the sheep game d1 he seems like a likely wolf.

I also think there could be a wolf in ianaww/gambit. I do not think they are likely to be wolves together. Based solely on posting (i.e., ignoring the mason claim) I think gambit is the more likely wolf of the two.

regarding my Happy villager posts, I don't really know what to tell. Yes he made a small amount of posts. Yes i thought the 1st few of them where wolfy... but after a few more I felt they where villagery. --- That is all !


All the people i went after gave me wolfy feelings. That is the only reason i would call them a wolf.

People that gave me villagery feelings and looked to be helping out I gave villa points to.

I did think vader was a villager.. I understood why he thought my post seemed wolfy.
Also I didn't care that Mac listed me as a villager, I still thought he was a wolf.. I'm sure loads of wolfs have villagers on lists as villagers.. But it still didn't change my mind on him.. I wasn't going to change my mind on him just because he called me a villager. I still feel he's a wolf.

The way I play.. and i know it's no the best way is to following my reads and sometimes I do call villagers wolves.... it happens. But by doing this i leave myself open for easy lynches. In the past the wolves have used my play against me.. they get the village against me pretty easily.

Holy cow, that is awesome! So my plan for tonight is to do a fresh reread of the game now that a bunch of roles are known. Just noodling real quickly, assuming 5 wolves to start that means 3 wolves and 9 villagers. With 1 kill a night that gives us
3 7 after 1 mislynch / kill
3 5 after 2
so we have 2 mislynches there, but a no lynch option
with 2 kills / night we have
3 6 after 1 mislynch, then we can no lynch

Wow, that is much tighter than I thought. I was actually thinking we were crushing killing 2 wolves in 3 days.

Gotta head to work.

I've had Mac as a wolf for a few days.. Doing a little review work and came across these 2 posts.


While he does have some people missing.. His Villa team seems to be full and what i think to be villa players..

I wish his wolf team had more.. But as iamnotawerewolf said he's leaving little room to change votes etc -- **[[ Am i changing my mind about mac ? ]]** -- maybe.... But it's a slight maybe.

I've been re-reading your D1.. I tend to vote people that try to call me a wolf.. and when you commented about the Fare and Fair.. I didn't like it. Also you voting for chris at EOD i didn't like.. But I think i've had blinkers on over this and not given you a chance.
