For clarity if the affiilaion receiver dies before the peeker dies the peeker is essentially vanilla at that point

After the Death Seer Peek Receiver dies, the peeks he or she have stored are revealed, and the Peek Originator will indeed become vanilla.

Additionally, all players that have received a vanilla villager PM will no longer have to send nightly peeks. Ace of Spaids will make a public announcement to that effect.

Frankly, I can be swayed*. My argument is that otherwise, the village night and day angel only protects against the village day 2 and 3 dayvig during the day, which is pretty lame.
