yeah the 1 clue was the safe way to play it since no easy way to link lawyer+button without bringing in doubt on other words
it COULD have also meant the 2nd word on list was bad, so he only wanted you to guess button+top of list, but then on last round when he went UNLIMITED it had to be lawyer+rest of list until bottles
if 2nd word had been bad, then on last round he would have clued differently
and if 2nd word had been neutral, he would have clued button unlimited to get you to hit the 2nd word neutral blocker so it'd be unblocked for the last clue
either scenario, you did it right guessing button+top of list and then guessing lawyer+rest of list
I’m not understanding the fastener - 1 clue instead of fastener - unlimited. If Opera was neutral, and last on our list, why limit us? We still close it out with attorney - 1 and there’s no agonizing over the decision.
Pro for 1 clue:
Less words revealed may make it tougher for us
Con for 1 clue: may confuse y’all or you may change ordering after the clue, making the attorney unlimited clue not available
Basically that, though I thought unlimited at the end with 3 to go would be a clearer signal. I guess not because I confused you both. At least we got there.
