My only reason for bringing it up is to decide if lawyer is worth guessing, or too risky. But I suppose if it was the assassin he'd have done something to clue us away from it?

We can't win this turn, and they only have 2 left.

I'm not even sure we should discuss this clue very much. Might be best to just guess one word without talking about other the other 2 possibilities, pass, and hope we get another turn.

I really feel like I'm missing something this game. It's weird to look at a clue and get zero or one likelies.

I don't think we shut down. Whether they win has little to do with us, when you're cluing two. We want to put ourselves in with a good chance to win if we get one more shot. I think we need two to let him clue three or two with an n-1 next turn.

I guess I just feel like leaving as much on the board as possible is better than taking things off when they have two left.

I agree about putting ourselves in a better chance to win, but that means nothing if we don't get that chance.

But if you want to make a list, that's okay. Our expected win rate is so low at this point that either way probably doesn't change the EV that much.
