Port would be a decent guess if it was supposed to be waves and he made a typo, so I'd probably go with that for lack of a better guess.

It also looks a bit like it could be a band name, so maybe band on there, too? Or instead?

Don't jump the gun filthy, but let me know your thoughts. I want to re-read some of nich's posts about n-1. I feel like this is an odd situation since I feel strongly most of that list is correct. Perhaps it means gold is wrong? otherwise it would be unlimited, right?

It seems like Gas can hit Joker as well. I'm just confused as to why it wouldn't be unlimited clue if our remaining list were exactly it. Reading back to confirm, n-1 usually means that you guess for the given clue and then the makeup word is correct. So let's say Thief is correct. To me it almost implies that one our words is wrong. Like we need to guess 4 Joker words (some overlap with previous clue and our list), and thief is also correct. Seems a little tougher to figure out for me because it's not a "clean" n-1

So we were never winning anyway, but a few things:

1. N-1 means top word is right along with guess the new clue…so thief plus 4 joker words
2. Lion doesn’t hit Catwoman or Joker at all…it’s illegal to clue with part of a compound word, so you need to connect Lion to Catwoman not cat, as cat being the connection is illegal…and no connection to Joker anyway and I said 4 words other than thief have to hit Joker

Letty is Vin Diesel’s gf and a main character in the Fast and Furious franchise…I figured at least one of y’all woulda seen them but I guess not…so chick, thief, millionaire, gas, time

Luckily you got Canada so all wasn’t lost


But clue order guessing is HUGE and you put Penguin, the other Batman Villain in the movie with Catwoman too far down the list…what that does is FORCES me to clue another Batman word the next time bc penguin wasn’t at top of list and it’s not easy to combine penguin with other words in another way


Like I said, we weren’t gonna win anyway after y’all not watching those movies, but Lion being guessed, being confused on n-1, and putting Penguin so far down (if someone clues a comic book clue you gotta put another comic book connection at top of list just like if I clue a French word then you gotta put France or Paris at top of list) are learning points

To be clear, Catwoman - 2 would be illegal for Lion and Queen, for instance? I wasn't aware of that, but it makes sense.
