If he's a villager, it was presumably designed to try to get a read on IRTM by pushing him & seeing how he reacted. Starting the game that early when not much else is going on is kind of villagery in a vacuum.

If he's a wolf, of course he's just making a push for the hell of it, like 11+ hours before EOD, then backing off of it real quick. Seems more likely to be w/w distancing than a wolf making a push on a villager at that point of the day I would think?

Yes, the push was not going anywhere. What that means regarding Viggo's alignment would just be confirmation bias based on whatever the reason you believe he made the push was.

You used reading suga on something completely NAI as a reason to say you were doing work. Wolves tend to do stuff like that to pretend like they're solving.

It's not like you can't later walk such a light read back, but if he continues to do more things to prove he's a villager, you could always take credit for it later.

Or maybe you're w/w & just want to support him. Who knows. Either way, you should know jokes are NAI for suga, or not have enough experience with him to try to make a read based on a single joke.

2. I just recently survived an 80 player Mash as a Villager with JMurder as a villager, so I have a pretty good feeling I'm going to be able to clear him if he is villager based on tone/content. I think Manasi was in that game also but under a different name which I'm not sure what it was but if reminded I will probably recall.

This is a good idea, imo. Wolves will often poke and prod to find viable villa wagons, the implication that viggo did that is compelling. Will need to reread that part. But this post at least makes it seem like you're thinking correctly about the game.

I don't know enough about Viggo to know what his motivation was. Never played with him before afaik.

Pushing someone for little to no reason is perfectly fine to do as a villager & helps elevate the game from crap posting real quick.

While it's true that this is something wolves can do, doing it with the entire day left seems sub-optimal, but I don't know enough about Viggo to say one way or the other. That push is what I have the least issue with in terms of IANAWW's early posting.
