And he's been wolfy as hell every time, and I led a mislynch against him the first game when he was the seer.

In subsequent games I've come to realize that he's just so meh at posting that he seems super wolfy.

But I don't have any actual wolf data on him, so I only know what his villa games look like.
why am I meh at posting? (Not trying to be defensive, I'm always looking to improve)

I always try to be a good villa, leave lists and reads and all that. Granted I used to have too much FPS and hardcore confirmation bias, but I'm working on it and following KISS more. I feel like I was ok last game, but maybe not.

You seem to be coming off less wolfy than usual.

You should consult my location before making such rash posts.

I'm in Adelaide. It's a sister city to Austin and I've often seen the two compared. In terms of relationship to Melbourne, we are like the Boston to their New York.

I was in Melbourne on Friday. It's always been my favourite Australian city, despite the very old rivalry with Adelaide, but it's starting to get too big for its own good and is losing its identity. Sad!

I lived in Melbourne for six months, just got back to America in January.

I miss it so so so so much.

I kinda wish I had gone to Adelaide while I was there. It was a super cheap flight for a weekend trip.

Yeah, that's exactly what makes the analogy work.

Adelaide is a great place to raise a family, very liveable, but often the butt of jokes. I remember once I had a French backpacker stay with me for a night, we went out to a hostel so he could find people driving to Perth. As he was talking to a couple French guys, I was speaking to an Italian girl who spoke English. She said "So you live in Adelaide?" Me: "Yep" Her: "........ Is it boring for you?".

You didn't miss much. Late Feb/early March (i.e. right now) there is a lot going on and I'd very much recommend visiting at that time. At other times, only if you want to visit the wine regions. Adelaide is a fine place to live, but there's nothing for tourists. Many other places in Australia I'd recommend visiting first.

We're getting a bit off track here but what the hell: What did you like about Melb over living in the US? I've only visited the US so I'm curious.

I think everyone in Melbourne (honestly Australia in general) is a lot nicer and more welcoming than anyone in America. I live right outside of DC so I'm still close to a pretty city, but living in the CBD was something else. I was one tram stop away from QV Market. It was so so so so good.

ALSO THE COFFEE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANYTHING YOU CAN GET IN AMERICA

I lived outside DC for a little while. My read was that it's basically a ton of north easterners who want to get away from *******s in the north east, which essentially made it exactly like the north east.

Haha. Yeah. Melbourne is known for its coffee obsession within Australia and even the rest of Australia has vastly better coffee than the US.

I think being a foreigner influences how friendly you find places. I found the US very friendly. The one thing I would say for Australia is that friendliness is always genuine, there's not the fakeness you get in places like California. Australians are culturally similar to New Yorkers, blunt but will reciprocate a friendly attitude if they get it.

Yeah, another thing that I found quite magnificent is that most people (can't speak for all) tend to separate work and home pretty strictly. I met people that wouldn't take a work call after hours because they weren't working at the time therefore it could wait until tomorrow.

Something like that is so so so so foreign for me. This area is so focused on living to work as opposed to working to live which is what it seemed over there. My parents will work from 6 AM to 5 PM and then work more once they get home, and even watching them do that drives me crazy.

Man, I loved Australia. Really hoping I get a chance to go back for an extended period of time.

Uhh, meh.

I've had more unpleasant experiences up north, and I like DC a lot.

Maybe? I wouldn't say it's nearly as bad as the dickheads in NY or Boston but it's no Sunshine Coast.
