I think blocking the seer would have been the perfect compensation.

Fwiw it's hard to put yourself in the mindset of the wolfden, but Gabe was lolobv seer from at least start of day 2.

The only fakepeek I saw in the thread was Ben's, which he quickly dropped.

The problem is that we were forced to kill dyachei night 2 because of the roleblocked claim (we double and triple checked the roles, and there were NO ROLES itg that would know they got roleblocked (that were still alive or who weren't wolves)) since there is no other role she could have been other than seer and having that knowledge.

and once she was 'confirmed' to be the seer, we stopped looking/caring (cause mechanically, there was no other role she could be, and have the information that she was roleblocked).



day 3 we had only chrisV and gabe on our radars (although we really didn't think gabe was the seer for his still calling xkf a villager)



and then there is the factor that xander was also essentially cleared for his claim of being roleblocked.


so I think the compensation was strong for us, but fair (imo).

essentially we lost 2 possible mislynches, and the village gained a free night for the seer to work, and a confirmed town.

I think 1 nightkill is definitely a fair compensation in that instance, in particular because I think gabe was definitely on the table that night 2 otherwise (cause we were never getting him lynched, and he had seer equity)


the modkill is obviously a seperate issue, but village only killing villas till day 3, and then not killing wolves that had money for guns/potential for the cathedral vig was the real downfall of the village imo.

You know a villager could conceivably say they were RB as seer cover?

This is different, because we role blocked her, and she KNEW she was role blocked, we looked at available roles that she could be, took into account possible money, and the only possibility was seer. Literally only think left. What you are saying is emissions possible, but the wolves know where the RB was, and her knowing it was her tells us that she has a night action.

Except this RB worked differently and we weren't told about it. So we put a NKP on her because of it, one we never would have otherwise.

Xander was not cleared. It is not hard at all for a wolf to claim being role blocked.

Also note that the compensation ENDED THE GAME. If you have correct info and are not killing dyachei, are you 100% to win the game? Absolutely not. So the compensation was too much. QED.

Whatever people decide is up to them. I enjoy playing here and I try to only sign up when I can put in the effort. I hope that I have not been offensive to people or upset anyone, I do my best.

If making a mistake when I should have known better outweighs all of that then there is not much I can do. I try not to screw up but sometimes in unfortunate circumstances it happens.

I agree with the ruling, especially considering how well dice has responded to the feedback. Compare this to players, say, who show no remorse and berate you for even commenting on their mistakes. dice is good imo.

I followed ChrisV's suggestion and took a look at her early game spam. A great majority were posts like this:


This is just one example of her being very off topic. Spammed mostly about her friends in the game, made wolf chat jokes, didn't really give many reads. Here it's different in that she started off with a lot of her own original reads and kept posting and engaging even though she was busy.

She seems to be a very spammy player and able to high post in either alignment, but her wolf game is very level one in that it isn't thought out nor are her thoughts original. She prefers talking about things not regarding the game and derails often. She rarely questions the reads of her baes (NL and Gamer for instance).

I attempted to find her best posts in each game she gave me but they weren't very good. A lot of low content posting.

She was on the bottom of the reads lists of most people for days, except when she got fake shc'd.

Unless she's grown a lot since around January/February, I think she might be out of her wolf range.
