Weird situation that I'd love some input on:

Fosr clue of the game of:
Hammer - 4

Guesses come back as
Pound
Screwdriver
Hit
Smash

And red spy master accidentally reveals the board and says gg not stopping at the neutral. What's the play?

For tournament purposes, I'd award blue the win if they were more likely to win, and replay if red was likely going to win/it seemed close.

i assume "fosr clue" means first clue, so its pretty hard to say who was more likely to win from that

i'd leave it up to the tournament director

i don't think anyone is trying to cheat here, so i'd just say rerand first offense, forfeit second offense, as it could be abused. but its probably just an honest mistake. if one team feels like it would unfairly benefit one side, then we could have a discussion?

My suggestion:

Have neutral party re-rand board. Same planned spymasters. Spymaster who didn't **** up gets to choose after seeing board which color they want.

I'm certain it was an honest mistake.

I guess the issue is that if it had been revealed normally, red was going to have to give a zero clue for the assassin, essentially wasting the turn.

If we were to re-rand with a penalty, maybe red has to give a zero clue on turn 2.

Interesting...I think the context matters a lot - in this case it is turn 1 and I wouldn't necessarily say red has to give an upcoming 0 clue but they seem at a disadvantage with the assassin as remaining candidate #2 for the guesser.

Random revealed word(not of spymaster's choice) for the other team in a new game seems like the appropriate level of penalty.

The funnest, somewhat silly solution to me would be

and i'm ok with whatever is decided; since i'm involved i'm not going to weigh in on options, but i don't think it should be too harsh; honest mistake on first turn of game
