Emergency could be anything like a fire, earthquake, tornado, etc...It would have been easy to narrow this to ambulance and glove.. Maybe glove for handling lumber. But, you use gloves for lots of things.

what was 2nd emergency word?

so the words left for red in that game were: pass, shop, sugar, trick

lumber - 4 was meant to be nail, shed, stick and shop. one of the reasons i didn't say "wood" instead was because of bonsai, but it didn't really work out. i had some issues finding strong clues on this board, and that's the closest thing to one that i had, so i went with it

emergency - 2 was a try for ambulance and pass. like if there's an emergency, you might see an ambulance pass you. i knew about ladder, but since you were kind of considering it for lumber already, it seemed like a word we might have to grind through, so that being guessed seemed fine

silhouette - unlimited was probably a mistake. i wanted to clue for figure, as i thought it'd be the hardest word left over to relate to the others, but i might have done that better with something like "mannequin" to reiterate that shop was one of ours

other things i was considering were:
- bridge, to try for pass and trick, although card was a problem. i completely forgot passing is a thing you do in bridge until i've been writing this, which would've made that look better
- siren, instead of emergency (i thought it might get you caught on luck somehow, because of mythological sirens and the misfortune they bring)
- pixy, like pixy stix, for a sugar stick
- puppet, ventriloquist or dummy, but i got really afraid of arm and glove in the blue words, and string as yet another neutral

insanity did really well to leave the worst blockers up there for me until the end, lol
