I really just can't see how any of these relate to trump except Carrot (orange obv). But the only thing giving me reservations is the fact that I feel like garden - 2 would have been much easier.
But maybe that's just how I think.

At least I carrots and beef together pretty well too.

Creature 4 was for penguin/dragon/cricket/mouse. Of course seal would find it's way in there, but I'm ok with a 4:1 trade.

Blitzkrieg 3 was Berlin/war/bolt. Blitzkrieg literally means "lightning war". I knew soldier might make it in there, but you getting the bolt connection was really important there.

Now I'm in a really difficult spot. I need to clue for bolt/maple, but also make up the 2 creature words. I can't use an unlimited, because you'll assume it's a 1 clue and fire was good for blitzkrieg. So now I have to clue 3 for bolt + maple + 1 of the creature words.

Franchises 3 was for cricket (teams in general), bolt (TB Lightning), and maple (Maple Leafs). I didn't anticipate you reading Disney for that to tie it to mouse. I felt Teams was too vague, and that could include National Teams, and I needed to avoid Czech. Likewise, a direct hockey reference could bring in Czech as well, if I could even find one that would include cricket or mouse.

What I really wish you had done with blitzkrieg was nab the 2 creature words rather than take a guess on the 3rd word, especially since you were debating between 3 words. That would've allowed me to give an unlimited clue for the final word if Soldier was correct for blitzkrieg, or a direct 2 clue for the final 2 words.

I get your thinking there though. If it were soldier or fire then I can give an unlimited clue for the final word. It was a way for you to make 2 guesses there. But if neither word is right, we're kinda screwed. I guess it depends on your confidence level on the 2 guesses. And missing the bolt connection, soldier or fire seem really good there. Ah well.
