You refused to answer Dorian....that is worse IMO. if you were mafia with Ratchet, you could have played his game to try to deflect onto ANYONE else not on your scum team. But you kept a little pressure on Ratchet - like "Well...i am not sure...because well...he has done SUCH a good job defending himself today and you aren't acknowledging that...(ok ok, that was Riki)...but I want to seem more Townie so I will put him as my third"

Honestly, you could be town. And Riki could be the second mafia on the Smartbomb train. I chose you over Riki because I just kept seeing you on Day 1 give him town reads for NO reason.

If you've got spare time to kill before the musical, MSU, I'd recommend voicing your opinions on and/or going through the progressions/opinions around the me/Ratchet/Achro -debate today. From people not us three.

There are three important parts to any vote count: The wagon, the abstainers, and the people off in bat-**** nowhere. With MSU likely town, Ratchet likely mafia, and me and Cue town, I can fill in this vote count a bit. (Also, there was one scum on that wagon. Suck it.)

I suspect if there was another scum on the MSU wagon, they'd feel very uncomfortable with how large and stagnant it was, and would be inclined to move to another towny relatively quickly.

Oh look:
This vote makes all top three wagons on town and, if Riki is scum, spreads out the vote a bit. Riki's behavior felt really town and he's probably not scum if Banks is scum. Banks defends teammates sure, but hard aligning with them for no reason? Nah. Both of his votes (on MSU and Smartbomb) are bad though, which

On that note, clearing Banks is bad. On DM, Banks will attempt to carry his entire scumteam with him and defend them if he can at all get away with it.

Also, with a bunch of two-man wagons popping up throughout the Day, I find it unlikely that two scum voted together. Going through Ratchet's vote in a bit would help with that, but right now I'm going to use it to call Riki and Dorian unaligned pairs.

There's also usually a scum in the lurkers, which leaves Dorian and road. Unfortunately, I think this player base lends itself to people being off in bat-**** nowhere, because we're all so arrogant. Slendy and Achromatic are kind of bad here, but I wouldn't attack them for it.

Looking at end of day, I think the only likely scum on the Ratchet wagon is Achromatic, mainly because his firm townread of Ratchet today came only after Slendy started changing his mind.

DosEspana is still town. He was late to the Ratchet wagon, sure, but he got around to calling Ratchet scum when everyone else was backing off. More importantly, he acted like Ratchet owed him logic, and I can't see that coming from scum.

Where does that leave me?

Riki is basically defending Ratchet to me enabling Ratchet to not say a word. I really wanted to poke Ratchet and instead, Riki bit.

Well i was kind of in the zone finding evidence for Banks being scum. That was like al my focus and then i read you post fast.
Well, guess this leaves more room and time to find evidence (or maybe evidence against my case).

I'm kind of happy that you peeked Ratchet, because i havent really tried to read him. Now that is a not a concern. However i find your peek odd and i tihnk it is risky to claim this early, but that is not something to speculate about today.

Ok. I've weighed over the possibilities in my mind. Here's the condensed version:

MSU is vanilla town: claiming cop like this is such horrible play, not considering this option

MSU is cop: makes sense, especially if he won't be around for end of day (have fun at Book of Mormon, it's hilarious!) and was worried about being lynched, which I think was a possibility

MSU is mafia: he's still worried about being lynched while afk, decides to go balls-to-the-wall and draw out the real cop's counterclaim. If the real cop stays hidden, we lynch Ratchet, and either MSU has bussed a teammate, or he's wrong, and he gets lynched or cc'ed the next day.

I think it's more likely MSU is for real, especially since I don't think MSU and Ratchet are scum together.

One thing that might be noteworthy is that some people D1 kept calling Ratchet's play 'relaxed' when I couldn't see it at all, then come D2 Ratchet also started calling his own play 'relaxed'.

Also the oddity of going Achro-me-MSU in accusations today could actually be explained as antispew-mode, being PREPARED for the possibility that Ratchet would be Cop-checked (since after all shouldn't Scum consider that quite likely? A shame I didn't realize this earlier.)

Good morning, Mixed emotions reading through this.

1) ratchet
2) Kinda bummed I missed my shot at lynching a scum day 1. I wanted that bad. :/
3) I wish MSU hadn't claimed unless he thinks that he was outed already which didn't feel like the case. I think of course you should always claim your n0 peek. The way you word things makes me think its on me but I'm not 100%
4) Saves me from leaving my fake peek of slendy v n1 which felt awkward but was the only one I felt comfortable enough placing it on.

I skipped your progression on me from my ipad for the most part. Thats not how I treat a scum buddy day 1 just fyi. If ratchet is mafia here I just vote cute where I quoted the posts between ratchet and cue and say I trust fonti or some such nonsense we know cue is town. Risking a chinese fire drill on someone when I know others aren't going to move is not something I'm willing to do.


Looking back at EoD if we know ratchet is scum is interesting because at least for me the smartbomb wagon makes dorian look even worse.

On a scale of 1 to cop MSU is like a 4 but I think his check is accurate as evidenced by everyone being around now to vote for ratchet. So its not worth talking about.

You defended Cue all game. Turning on him there looks much worse for you than just continuing with your suspicions on SmartBomb.I think basically everyone saw Cue as a hard lynch anyway.

I do not like that you're started talking about going after dorian directly after he made a very town post. What.

Starting fresh, rip everything down, burn it to the ground. Okay things I know so far is that I was clever yesterday and not so clever today. So let's just erase today, didn't happen. The backbone of my assumption was wrong, which means scum was in fact insanely clever with their Cue kill. I have been operating under basic scum parameters but I should have stuck to what I said day one: scum are intelligent and devious, and I shouldn't underestimate them. So I won't. By killing Cue they reveal the person who cast the deciding vote as town and it stunts pressure on Ratchet due to that reason. That's very clever, well done to the scum team.

Before I isolate Ratchet things to get out of the way about the remaining 9 not me players:

MSU is cop, duh
Slendy sparked my interest in Ratchet and in the last hour never wavered from this despite Ratchet trying to shake people loose like a mad dog. Slendy could have had a fake change of heart as his buddy here, but he never did. Slendy is town.
Doc gave an utterly thought provoking post about Ratchet and how I was using too forgiving a meta to town clear him. This insight is grade A stuff and I firmly believe it makes Doc town. I was feeling good about Doc yesterday as well, which helps, but that post was fantastic. Really, a fantastic piece of mafia from you Doc. Well done.
Font sticking with Cue would be ABSURD given a scumbuddy was on the line and we had Banker begging her to join. It would have been incredibly easy to give up the fight and help her scumbuddy but she never did. It's possible but that's insane play if true. It took Cue's lapse in judgment to seal it, and I just... would be baffled if any active scum was on any train outside of Smartbomb's at the very end. Baffled!

So this leaves Bhuber/Banks/Dorian/Road/Riki to fill 5 scum slots. Let's see what Ratchet's interactions uncover!

Scum profile I am using for Ratchet: Calm, collected, and very clever. Incapable of faking that town spark so he suits his town play to not expose his scum play, which is an intelligent thing to do. Not afraid to go after someone like me, so confident as well.
