either way, its been fun yo, I think I got a pretty huge kick out of the whole english as a second language thing and laughed at some of the confusion it seemed to cause

Day Three
"....I woke, disoriented.
I struggled to remember what was going on. But I survived. Strangely I was not in control of my body, however... it would seem my spirit was trapped within another.
I became aware that my immortal spirit was occupying the body of another young woman, a healer. I couldn't remember her name, exactly. From what I did remember, she was very young but showed a profound understanding of white magic and had a natural ability for it. In time, she could become an immensely powerful healer, if only we had the time.
I could only watch, observing things through her eyes, unable to speak. The shadow creatures had nearly finished our second line, and more inspiration was needed. Somehow, someone needed to reinvigorate our struggling forces.
As soon as I had the thought, I noticed that two of the Celestials were fighting back to back, and managed to hold their own impressively well.
He was our mightiest champion, white knight and holy defender of the Eternal Heavens, with angelic wings and divine armor crafted from the purest fabric of imagination. He was protecting another, who was known to us all as Joy. She was an archer, whose arrows were made of dreams. They complemented each other quite well, a pairing made in heaven.
As they battled, he protected her, while she fired arrows of impossible brightness into the eyes of the beasts... together they carved their way into the sea of shadow warriors. Surrounded on all sides, somehow, they held their own. In this moment, it drew the attention of much of the horde away from us in the rear line.
The love they had for one another made the bond between them impossible to break, and as they fought, she began to sing to him, to inspire him...
As she sang, she began to glow with otherworldly power, just as Hope did. But somehow, it seemed even brighter than before... more cheerful, more passionate, and the magical effect was more powerful. Not only did she glow, but he did as well, and soon, most of our melee fighters began to feel it as well.
It was infectious, inspiring us all... suddenly everything seemed more joyful, more optimistic than before... we fought with renewed passion and strength, and we focused on staying alive, as best we could.
Joy's arrows rained down from the sky, each hitting their marks, and the Shadows began to vanish one by one... she continued to grow more and more powerful, firing her shots with increasing speed. Her counterpart began to cleave the shadow beasts apart with a single blow swing of his longsword which radiated with the same energy as hers.
For several moments, the advance of the enemy was slowed to a crawl, and they were being defeated in greater numbers and with greater speed than before.
If only our forces were not so vastly outnumbered, we still had not slain even a hundredth of the great horde that surrounded us on all sides. But joyously we fought, and bravely still.
From within the horde itself, emerged a powerful and massive Shadow, a terror even more horrifying than the last, a gargantuan, monolithic Wyrm.
The Wyrm of Shadow and Flame soared over the battlefield, heading straight for her.
She saw the beast as it approached, and began to fire her brilliant, piercing arrows directly at the creature. But this one was far too powerful to be felled by a single shot, and even her enhanced, otherworldly powerful bolts were deflected off the creature's burning shadowy scales.
It swooped downward, jaws open, screeching the most terrifying sound. Fear shook the resolve of our entire forces, and penetrated the glow and the aura protecting our fighters. The shockwave of this monstrous sound reverberated across the great plain, and knocked our holy defender to the ground, as well as Joy. It streaked closer... and closer... and closer.... ready to ravenously devour and destroy all in sight.
Begin Night Three

"She continued to sing her joyful song, and it inspired us to fight on.
With the Shadows of Fear and Loathing vanquished, and our second line bolstered with Celestial magic, it seemed as though our fortunes were turning in our favor.
It was going so well, but then... the ground itself began to crumble beneath her feet. She and her counterpart looked up and they saw that the edge of the Storm had been creeping closer to their position, and now, they were too far out of position.
They were surrounded by creatures of Shadow on all sides, and they both lost their footing. They were pulled apart by the shifting grounds, and Joy tumbled down into a crevasse.
He tried to find her, but the swirling darkness obscured his vision.
The wind drowned her screams as well as his. The storm pulled her into the void, as well as all of the rock surrounding her. In a terrible moment, she was gone.
The Shadow creatures were nothing compared to that creeping darkness that still approached, and the nothingness to where we would all soon be condemned."
"Even if it could be stopped, at this point.... too much of our world had been annihilated. There was little left that could possibly be preserved, and with each passing moment, more of us would be lost forever inside destruction itself."
