It is a game of mafia, so I suppose all questions are loaded. We want interactions to find scum.

It's 2 common mafia/werewolf formats - one, untimed, depends on a majority vote lynch, which, when reached, ends the day with that player lynched. Sometimes those games can go on for weeks and months. It's what the mafiascum site mostly uses.

The timed format is what we're using here in our game. I'm most used to playing these, but on a 24/12 clock - where days last 24 hours and nights last 12. Here, it's stretched out a bit more, but still on a regular schedule, where the player lynched is the one with the most votes at the end of the day - in about another hour.

What does this question have to do with the first post?

I didn't mean the conclusion was exactly good but his post was reasonably town for me I wouldn't want to see him lynched.

I want to see him post more before I jump to the conclusion that he's evil.

That's what I thought. I guess what I'm wondering is, does "timed" imply EOD lynches instead of majority?

I've only played the EOD format. But have heard of the untimed, majority lynch style.

Some games end a lynch at majority votes; some operate on a timer. This game is 'timed' and I made the early assumption that it was hammer. This is why Gnaw suspected me -- or something like that.

It affects my read because it's a potential explanation for why spruce has been so uncooperative in his playstyle. It's a confounding factor on whether he's trying to troll the game or is legitimately acting suspicious, hence why I'm feeling uneasy on him now.
