not that much is known about him by written history. he avoided people who wrote down history. he would have killed any who got close to him before the final months of his life
he was never captured. pretty much won every battle he ever fought, except for the last when he was using bows and arrows vs cannons, and he still kind of won. he got his people(women and children) mostly away, and got away himself
his story should be widely taught in america at least. it's an amazing, compelling story
