Realize that just the debut is 80-84. It could've aired original episodes beyond that range (technically it could still be on the air, though I don't think any show qualifies).

12 seems non-responsive to the question, which seems to be about original debut date?

Factoring that in, though, it looks like it has to be

The Biskitts

I took those questions to not necessarily be referring to debut years, rather whether the show was still in original run. "Debut" being used in earlier questions put me in that frame of mind. If this has misled anyone, I apologize. This, plus another bit of fuzziness about Saturday mornings, leads me to say that the show debuted in '83.

Okay, then. Did it air originally in 1983 and/or 1984?

To me "aired original episodes" & "aired originally" is the distinction, but it doesn't matter.

It was a show I watched, back in the day when I was 18. Do you want to commit to the guess?

That was my 1st thought, but it was before I figured out it didn't 1st air in 1984 & Wiki didn't list comedy as one of the three genres, but it has to be right.

I watched that show as a kid. 80s had great Saturday morning cartoons.

The 70s were pretty good, too. The cartoons would lead into Star Trek, followed by roller derby and wrestling.

I did not watch Dungeons and Dragons. Tried playing it a couple times and never was having any fun.

Never seen the show, or most of those shows in that lineup. Never played the game or even considered it. I do recall people playing in our HS library, though.

I'm sorry to hear that. The game isn't everyone's cup of tea. Everything really depends on the group and playing styles. Some people like to kill monsters and get treasure, some are into wargaming/miniatures, some are into heavy role-playing, and some are just interested in the story telling aspect.

Honestly I think it's just this.

I would always just rather play a card game or board game than an RPG.

I watched the show and love RPGs but never cared for the game, only played it once. I like RPGs as a video game but not a board game. I love me some strategy board games though (Risk, Stratego, Scotland Yard, etc).
