Nice pick JM3, way to throw all the boops for loops

He played in the AFC East for one year, in 1989 with the Indianapolis Colts.

Also a bit confused about why Lattimer looked up Rison if it wasn't as part of his viewing of the XXXI Box Score which would clearly show him winning the SB?

I weeded him out when making my initial list because I was only grabbing the real standouts and already had 2 Packers from that game so moved on. I brain-farted when I went through the SB31-39 list earlier - I obviously noticed he was a SB winner which is why I looked him up, but once I did *poof* gone. I'm getting old

TBH if I had included him I don't think it would've mattered, even if we had an additional Q.

Yeah. I wouldn't have put Rison as more likely than a lot of those guys.

I was comparing him to Brandon Marshall in an SE thread a few days ago. Surprisingly good career. 10k yards, 5 pro bowls, etc., but couldn't stay in one place too long after the Falcons years. I saw he was about to turn 50 & it made me feel crazy old.

Sorry for accusatory tone Lattimer, I've been reading too much Werewolf the last 2 days

I would say Rison >> Freeman >>>>>>> Howard in terms of actual football & Rison > Howard >>> Freeman in terms of fame, though.

I'm loling at myself for how this went down:

*thinks* Ok let's search the SB31-39 winners to see who I overlooked.
Looks up SB31 box score
*thinks* Hmmmm, maybe Andre Rison.
Looks up Rison's wiki page, glances at sidebar.
*thinks* Nope can't be him, he didn't win a Superbowl.
Looks up SB32 box score...

Humm

Trying to think of what categories of fame are left

- Poker player
- Other games like chess or video games
- Famous criminals
- Some kind of activist (not sure if that would qualify as politics)
