as far as sun goes I'm not even really sure I can read him and I tilt the **** out of him half the time when he's a villager by trying to get him lynched on d4 or whatever, but basically I think him having a particular way of just popping in with some thoughts, saying something kind of witty, a little light trolling but with a nice edge of solid wolf hunting on top, that's his village game

super early read though so I wouldn't put much weight on it

sun is kind of cryptic with his reads in both roles and doesnt really spell them out for you.

i think the only really reliable sun tell is that when hes wagoned as a villa he can get pretty tilted if he thinks hes an obvious villager and youre being a moron villager.

when im a wolf, i hate posting alot of content in huge chunks because i feel like its just more material for villagers to pick over and possibly cross me up with later on.

wn, I'm starting to fear I'm falling into the trap of overadjusting my reads based on recent games, so tell me why the following things are wrong:

1) As a villager, you're pretty lazy on d1 and post a lot of fluff. In this game and last game, you've gotten down to business and posted a lot of content and reads

2) As a villager, you usually talk about me, usually about how you're paranoid of me but sometimes about why you think you have a read on me, but this game and last game you've not done anything like that.

3) As a villager, you usually give a lot of weight to my opinions, in this game and last game you haven't, and you didn't even see fit to respond to my attempt to engage you in a discussion over a major source of disagreement between our reads

yeah, and it turned out pretty poorly for him since it was a bunch of consolidated wolfiness

and empirical evidence trumps theory anyway: I call it wolfy because it is what wolves do, and when he searched his own posts to find something similar, the only example he came up with was from a wolf game

Re: 1) I think that read is just out of date in general. I believe my early game reads have been pretty strong as a villager lately (see apartments, sneetches) and I haven't been super fluffy/spammy early on in long games much in the last several months since I took some time off

Re: 2) I feel like I'm usually more "paranoid" of you as a wolf then a villager. My strongest memories of villagering with you involve a lot of just assuming you were a villager until something happened to make me change my mind, and paying attention to your reads. I kind of hate to make meta arguments on my own behalf because lolz, so I'm not really sure how to respond to this, but I don't feel like I've neglected to interact with you at all in this game, whether it was the lollipop vote, or talking about your wolf hunting method, or whatever.

Re: 3) I imagine some of what you think you see is a result of the post cap. I would have probably at least 20-30 more posts at this point without that. As a matter of fact I took your eadgbe case strongly into account. I ended up moving him from a clear villager on my list into the "unsure" section. I just didn't post that much about it because I wanted to conserve posts and I didn't really anything to say except "yeah I dunno, what you are saying makes sense but I'm not sure if the other stuff I see in eadgbe's posts is more meaningful. I'm waiting to see what happens"

I assume that you were reading up on him for the purpose of forming a read on him... but I don't recall coming across any thoughts on him in your posts. Were you successful in getting a read on him?

I did not personally find montecore's long reads posts wolfy. Obviously it's suspicious if someone has a history of making reads lists as a wolf and not a villager, but it's just one of those things where over a small sample I'm pretty sure there's a ton of variance, and for me it's just not something that's going to be enough by itself to convince me to lynch him

And overall i'm giving montecore a tiny villager lean based on his tone and the way he's forming his thoughts about the game in comparison to the last one. That could also obviously not be correct, and I don't feel that confident about it, but basically I think it's worth taking more time to read him and I'm not really that interested in lynching him yet

although I will say if there's anything I find wolfy potentially about montecore it's not the reads list, it's more the popping in, making a post or two, and then being gone again
