I did not participate in nor read that game as I tend to treat anything My Little Pony-related like atomic waste, but could you please elaborate on this viewpoint?

CDL sounds absolutely awful. Without the post above, I'd say this is role-neutral verging on villagery. However, the post above sounds soooooooooo much like a possible mechanic (particularly him throwing Shark's name in there as well, after Kruze hardclaimed that he peeked CDL wolf) that I think there's a non-zero chance that CDL just blatantly stuck that in there assuming people would level themselves into not giving it much wolf credit. And, of course, that's the last post CDL has made.

So based on that single post and how it sounds in CDL's gameflow, I'm inclined to say he's >rand wolf.

(Obviously, there have been no apparent effects from that post yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did something behind the scenes.)

Noze asked the thread something that would have been better directed at me, ie why I voted for him when he had not yet posted itt. He does not appear to have waiting around for a response.

Thanks for this, at least now I know I'm not insane, or not the only one who is insane.

My reason for being more inclined to believe it actually means something than to not believe it: He stated clearly that he would not be around today. So in order to ensure he got to use this power (assuming that is what it is) before he gets lynched or vigged, he made sure to get it in when he could. He knew he was going to be AFK, which gives him no chance to convince everyone that Kruze didn't peek him like he claimed, while Kruze is in theory free to convince everyone that voting CDL is the way to go.

Granted, it could be nothing but smoke but it is at the very least some horrible FPS play that is anything but pro village.

Basically, half the players posted a lot and half the players posted rarely.

The top posters, myself included, formed a circlejerk where we lined up the other half and sent them one by one to the grave. There were wolves in that group who never received any serious pressure over six days.

I made this point to insanity earlier in the game, but if I see the same "consensus villager" group start to shape up, I'll fight it tooth and nail. Clearing villagers is ok, but if over half of the thread does so it's probably wolf-driven.

me asking people to give me people to read as a way of motivating me to do something when I've been around and posting is pretty different from someone coming into the thread and asking other people for cliffs fwiw
