Yes, no problem. I was travelling most of d1 and only got to the thread fairly late so a lot of my impressions of that were based on m(100post pp) pp1-5, 16 and 20-end-d1.
The Silman lean really comes from there (and I didn't see anything yesterday to revise it). The BJL read from later in d1 as well. I can't (without going back) isolate knock-down points - and that's why these are just leans, but really just an accumulation of little things, probably, in all honesty, too heavily weighted to me nodding my head and agreeing with their posts as I went through.
(Everything comes with a caveat: arrogance of inexperience: I've run super-hot so far this game with this 'technique' .. so either its gold or likely to run dry soon.)
Gad immediately called me wolfy and voted me and pushed, I suppose, medium hard (?fair Gad?) for me to be the lynch on d1. Naturally that made me antipathetic to him and I'd seen him make flimsy frame ups (successfully) as a wold in another game, so my initial thought was that this was a repeat. However when I went through his d1 I didn't think it looked that bad. I mean, I don't like his argument on me (obv it's wrong, but that's not the point, I thiink it's a weak case), but most of the rest of it was ok.
However he did start (?idk - i have no idea of their meta - continue possibly?) getting into it with vyk. During the time I had whilst d1 was alive I couldn't figure out how or why that started, & it looked a priori like an unhelpful back and forth. By d2 I still hadn't understood how/why they started - but it seemed to be cluttering the thread for quite a long time. I did eventually ask (once, maybe twice) if a non-combatant could explain what was at issue and/or whether it could be v-v but no one answered.
I didn't think gad's suggesting vyk not to peek euro as bad as some people. As people discussed itt today (maybe Gad and OW) something like that is a 'standard' line - albeit maybe misapplied in the particular situation. Obv the peek worked, but I'm not sure how results orientated that way of thinking is (although I agree it might not be).
Since then, and maybe moreso today, (& perhaps not coincidentally with vyk not being itt) he's seemed villa-y. I can be wrong, and it can be that less pressure is allowing wolf-gad to belnd in the the village more easily, but my level-1 take is, yes, more villa-y
