No, his role is that he is notified whenever a wolf is peeked, and he is told which wolf is peeked, but not who peeked that wolf. At least that's how I understand it.

Having taken a 15 mins to think, I see a couple of ways this could be a set up of euro or by euro, but all seem pretty unlikely. Imo Vagos makes good points.
