Tweedy it's good in theory but normally it just means nobody listens to me and I never get clear because the people I want dead never die. People not treating my reads as gospel is only pro-village ~25% of the time :P

It probably sounds like I'm bitching, and I guess I am a little bit. It just gets annoying having to spend so much of my time villaging worrying about whether I'm going to die or not instead of clearing villagers and hunting wolves.

What do you think of DarO and Ashington?

hypothetically if I were to say I think monikrazy is the lost wolf, would it be a significant truth bomb?

Obviously he posted a wolf.jpg, but he's also holding back reads (and he admitted as much) which is something a lost wolf would be expected to do.

Moni is exactly the type of villager to hold back reads and do that sort of thing for reactions, and I'm leery of even worrying about any potential lost wolf given how aids it's been the last few games. That said I did consider labelling my reads list 'WIMming Villagers' and such to honour you

Silman it was mostly for his read on Hold'em, as his description of Hold'ems wolf game doesn't really match his posts here, particularly with what Tweedy showed.

Which to be fair is similar to what I did, except my read on Hold'em would have been accurate based on the criteria I used to read him, I was just using faulty criteria. Dar0 was misinterpreting correct criteria. If that makes sense.

and the vast majority of lost wolves that I've seen don't even signal

bleh the level of certainty seems odd here, but I prob need to re-read some of his past games to see if it coincides with his wolf or villa range

I've never seen you come out straight outta the gate getting to work, it seems very villagery, just not something I'm use to from you and it's sort of has me skeptical, so I agree with insanity in that regard.

My two strongest wolf leans are Wetzel and Ashington right now. LKJ made a point I liked about Wetzel describing his own posts as "care free" being kinda off. I've only seen him village, but changing up his style if he randed villa again would be sort of random and then going out of your way to say it's for your meta, I dunno.

Ashington, never played with, but the overall tone of his posts strike me as wolfy and some others who have previous experience with him have said noticed some inconsistencies in tone as well.

Some of my strongest villa leans: Kruze, Forsy, Bankles, Silman, Moni

That's about all I got so far.

Just to clarify my thought on Wetzel a bit more to go along with the LKJ point I mentioned:

Wetzel is a fairly new player, right? "Changing up my meta" would fall into the category of a new player thinking he's doing something that is pretty clearing (Why would they think I'd change up my game when I rand wolf??) when in reality it's just a way for him to cover the possible inconsistencies that might arise between his normal villa game and his wolf game.

So I understand saying "that's about all I got so far" if you didn't have any reads besides ashington and dwetzel, but then you just listed 5 solid villa leans...which is really nice this early in the game...and def not worthy of saying "that's about all I got".

What would make sense is you just threw those consensus villa reads out, and didn't check to make sure your last sentence of "That's all I got so far." jibed with the amount of reads you posted.

To clarify:

makes a lot of sense to say:

"I have wolf reads on xxxx and xxxx. That's all I got."


doesn't make a lot of sense to say:

"I have wolf reads on xxxx and xxxx. I also have strong villa leans on xxxx, xxxx, xxxx, xxxx, and xxxx. That's all I got."

I didn't say "I have strong villa leans on..." though. I said my strongEST, which early d1 of a mishmash means basically nothing. Hence "that's about all I got". When I'm making my villa reads while reading the first 5-6 pages of a new game, it mostly consists of me just writing names down on a notepad for people I think are villagery and people I think are wolfy and then assembling them in some order that is mostly based on content and tone. We don't have much to go on at this point, so I like to just set some building block reads for myself early d1 and see how they progress as the day moves forward.

Also, I think I've honestly seen you wolf/neutral more often than I've seen you village, so it's possible this is clouding my judgement as well when I think "hmm, I never really see tweedy come out like this."

I suppose I distorted your words a tiny bit vagos, but my point still stands that your last sentence isn't consistent with how many reads you have.

I also think it's incredibly likely that if you are a wolf, you might've spewed dwetzel villa and possibly ashington wolf, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
