Complimenting the line up is generally something that is done pregame.

During the game a wolf would do it to blend in by stroking the egos of the village.

nevermind, thought he hadn't posted since "hello everyone"

but then I looked harder

However, if it had been the thing that I thought it was, it's more often done by villas than wolves imo (and ico). Cuz woofs worry about looking bad, so they make another post before leaving the thread to make their departure seem more natural. Which is what I found, upon further inspection, that he did. lol.

so in conclusion, that particular defense rests, and it's back to "dude gets mislynched more often than perdition"

So anyway I've been holding back for a bit because I took a look at the pirates game that Hold'em wolfed in and he started out way differently. His posts wrt mind-melding with other posters are completely absent from the other game. He reacted to pressure a bit differently here; more sustained degradation of other posters rather than just simple lolling. He's been way more on-topic earlier here as well.

I don't think any of his posts have been particularly difficult to make, especially since he has probably improved since the pirates mash. I think if he's a wolf he'll likely fall off in future days. So I'd like to leave him alone for now.

I'm also pretty confident that shark and hold'em are almost never w/w based on shark clearing him earlier itt.

Bankles is irking me because he didn't mention dwetzel iirc, got into a realllllllllly easy discussion with monte, and generally wasn't talking about things itt that I felt he should be.

I think dwetzel looks bad for ignoring pressure, but I'm not super confident yet. Forsy has been mega-villagery thus far. Kruze is just kruzing, but is >>rand to be a villager. Insanity's post wrt hold'em being anti-spew was really bad and is >rand to be wolfing. Shark's clearing of hold'em early irked me, but not enough to move him in a wolf category. I read him pretty well and I think his role will be more clear when he's sober.

meh

i kind of follow your reasoning but im not really thinking along the same lines

for one - taking the statement at face value, the most important thing is this thread will be a valley of death for the wolves

second - how often do you really see wolve stroking the ego of village - saying someone will play well should actually help them play better so im not sure it would really be an effective wolf strategy

here your concerns seem motivated by the wrong reasoning

I think the strangest thing about that DWetzel opening post is that it wasn't over 500 words, because that's usually what I remember about him.

Im not sure if you're actually being serious or not, but complimenting the village early is a pretty common wolf strategy and from my experience has no effect on the effort the village generally puts forth.

That's a lot of villager leans. That's also a lot of people you should be very hesitant in clearing, however light, early on.

Don't know what that says about you, you didn't give a lot of reads early on in MLP but you were multitabling.
