Since isolation is the point, if I need the sound system to get the radio (which I probably do, it makes sense that sat radio would be an upgrade over prerecorded), I probably go for it, take the 5 million payout for 5 extra points, and get the 3rd world medical care instead of the pool table.

Yeah, I'm surprised nobody else goes for hygiene. Setting aside soap, (I suppose dish soap comes with the kitchen if you're in a serious pinch for some reason) moisturizing lotion, hair conditioner, toenail clippers, and toothpaste are dealbreakers for me.

Do we know it's an outdoor garden or at least one with sunlight? Grow lamps are always a possibility and I'd rather have actual sunlight than an artificially lit garden

I think you have to take the girl, human contact + best time user available, i think skylight is a must too, without it i envision that you would go insane almost immediately.

Sex+TV+Pool and some fine cooking/dining seems like a pretty good way to use your days.

What he means is that presumably a garden would have sunlight. Of course this is the problem with most of these hypothetical scenarios, you end up having to make a lot of assumptions because the initial premise/options are poorly defined.

I bet almost everyone here could make a much better "10 years in a basement" with much more well defined premise/options.

btw, i saw this basement thing a few months ago when i was first hanging out with that model and at the time it made picking the girl seem like WAAAAAY more appealing. now the girl seems like a terrible idea.

and 5 points for a trillion dollars worth of drugs or alcohol is a bargain. i wouldn't even consume any of it, just sell it.

or maybe use a little for an induced 10 year coma and buy the doctor and wake up richer than any pharmaceutical company or alcohol company

oh and with unlimited drugs you could sell cheap drugs to the entire world. something like 1000 kids die every day from malaria. people in africa can't get aids meds. many people in the usa can't afford their meds. you could sell them for as little as you like and give much away free and still be the richest person in the world and win a few nobel prizes
