I thought lawn bowls was a weird name for Boule and then chose what sounded boules-y, my only base being that we call it "Schweinchen" (piglet) in German and that it's likely a silly name.

For those not familiar with Bowls but like ****ty early 2000 National Lampoon movies and James Cromwell and Vince Vaughn, check out National Lampoon's Blackball. It's actually not bad as a sports movie.

Yea in North America we call it Bocce, and afaik the white thing was called pallino. So I was lost on this one.

I eliminated Pin/Puck because they are terms from bowling/hockey. Hub just sounded wrong.
