Had Mango as scum even before foolishness' post, I think we should lynch him today.

Let me say this as well. There are probably too many unknown role possibilities to let Foolish live more than one free night. If him and mango are both alive tomorrow then we can kill one of them then.

I've been in games where someone has fake claimed seer as a wolf and then gone on to win. Don't do that.

I'm pretty certain this claim is false. Foolishness is mafia. He's probably the mafia vigilante.

I totally believe Foolish there is no point in even questioning this type of claim under these circumstances at this stage of the game.

We have better information because more people will die. Wolves will have to search for seers. Some of our village power roles may find out stuff. There is LOTS that can happen over night. At worst, we will have the same info. At best, we will have more.

The downside of lynching another townie is not a true downside because we have that same risk every single day. It is a non-argument.

And, yes, that assumes the claim is true, because again, you'd have to be stupid to make that claim and even stupider to not believe it. :P

But it still holds true even if Foolishness were faking. We force the scum to either expose Foolishness as a liar, or let Foolishness continue faking results that can be used to lynch his scumbuddies.

This is not necessarily true. Many things could happen to change this.

a) Mango or someone else could counter
b) Somebody else could find out the role of mango/foolish
c) Mango could die at night

Are you familiar with the concept of Occam's Razor? (Ockham's Razor, or however you spell it.)

The simplest solution is most likely to be correct.

Which is simpler? Foolishness is scum, who is faking a guilty on either a scumbuddy or a townie, who is claiming just to survive for a bit longer when ultimately that claim will backfire because there are too many town players alive and too many dead scum...

...Or that Foolishness is town, telling the truth, who has just netted us the fourth scum? Leaving a meager 3/18 left.

It's a simple matter of math, really. Foolishness is not a lynch candidate. Not today, not tomorrow, pretty much never. Because (1) Foolishness is telling the truth and is town, and (2) even if Foolishness were lying, the info from Foolishness's results can be used for at least two or three more days, by my math, before it's a risk.
