Well your other reads/leans I could see/guess the underlying thoughts, whereas your cyan one seemed less solid to me, as his one post is a pretty easy one for a baddie to make. So I was curious as to whether you actually found that post somewhat villagery or whether it was a gut thing or something else.

Exactly, It leads to the intent of the move, and when combined with the fact that the trap was pulled, for supposedly going to bed, doesnt it mean that Taylor is scared of it getting out of hand? Wouldnt it make more sense to try and snag more into the trap? Only maf would only catch a handful. Why go for a stray wolf when you can possibly get the whole pack?

I'd be much more inclined to vote for Cyan than Mastin, I was more curious about if I'd missed something along the way

The top part is honestly a basic tactic for a scum player that is new. Like I've been in QuickTopics (an external site we use so the scum players and masons can communicate) and have told first time scum players to ask questions like that. Generally they quote a post where "QT" is mentioned and they ask what that is.

Also why would a town player care how scum players talk to each other. I don't have a clue how this site does it and I couldn't care less as it has no impact on the game whatsoever.

The other questions about how roles work don't indicate alignment either. Sure he isn't sure how a new site uses these certain roles. He wouldn't know that if he's town and he wouldn't know that if he was scum.

Now I'm going to bed and to get a good's night rest in preparation of my legal studies. I will end my night with this statement.

Okay, but it's 90 minutes between these two posts. So that's at least 90 more minutes you could have waited to see how things played out.

The other issue I'm having with this story is that when I look back at the original post in question, I don't see anything special about it. I don't understand why it would be likely (in your opinion) to attract votes, nor do I see anything that looks like you were putting yourself out there or being weird in a way that does make it look like you were just trying to get reactions.

So, it's a tough sell. Your posts have left me puzzled -- I'm having a hard time figuring out what you have been trying to accomplish, regardless of your role.

I have Athexx as town based off a borderline illegal post, which I hate to use to townread someone but what's there is there.

I have mastin as likely town because I think his paranoia was genuine as opposed to a maf faking it.

I have Taylor as weaker town. His motives seem townish to me, despite them being slightly inaccurate for reasons already been addressed.

Soah/Captainbinkles/Devourer are also prob town, but those three are based more on gut reads that I can't quite explain rather than logical reads that I can.

Just my thoughts so far. Going to sleep now I'll likely be back in about 16 hours as I have classes tomorrow morning.

This post does not attempt to find scum, but it does snuggle another player. A poor opening move.

The most significant activity so far is in relation to TaylorFitz.

I have put people in my lean lists as firmly town for off behavior early in a game, and been correct. Scum tend to avoid seeming bizarre when people will use any excuse to vote for anyone. However, some people can't help it, and there was a point where I got a bit concerned, involving some attempted tactic which was then revealed immediately, seemed contrived, but also seems like something a player could do if they weren't, you know, thinking their moves out very well, and then just tried to explain themselves under pressure.

The various voters on TaylorFitz seem to be voting the odd, which is fine, because TaylorFitz is odd. I didn't get enough of a town read from Taylor's behavior to justify defending him here, so the votes are as good as any.

I am voting elsewhere because I believe in the early game, scum will avoid poking people in the eye, and that's what town needs to do to win.

I like your summary of the Taylor situation, basically felt the same way.

I dont really see the Cyan vote though. Why is town-hunting or listing townreads scummy?

Not just a hello vote but more like. After reading this far fank009 looks like the best target for the moment, but of course that can change reel quick.
I hope people don't jump on me for not posting but I'm not into posting a lot. Especially when I have no info, I see no point to posting, I just watch what others are saying. Till I work out what is going on *or more like when I think* "I know what is going on"
