As the sun peeked over the horizon and day broke on the sleepy little town, the denizens came out to meet one another. Some greeted friends and strangers alike warmly; others eyed everyone suspiciously, jumping on anything even remotely out of the ordinary as a potential clue in their quest to uncover the enemies in their midst. The paranoia had already set in.
Throughout the day they argued amongst each other about who must be one of the villainous scum seeking to destroy them. Consensus was not easily reached. People were pushed forward, accused of perfidy, defended by others. Some were adamant in their ability to read the souls of their fellow townsfolk, for good or for ill. But in a town where most were strangers and everyone KNEW that evil was lurking, who could be trusted?
And who in their midst should be sentenced to die this night?
Finally as the sun, bloated and blood red, dipped to sleep in the west, the final votes were cast and tallied. In the end, of all those accused of being an evil doer, it was Giga13 who garnered the most votes. And so it was Giga13 who must die. He was dragged forward. One would expect some type of protest, some fight for life with death so near, but he went to the gallows quietly. The crowd held him firmly, and the noose was slipped over his head. Those remaining watched solemnly as his struggles grew more and more feeble until, with his last breath, his true self was revealed....

NIGHT 1
Stunned with the results of their efforts the day before and the death of one of their most important assets, the people retired to their home for the evening. The darkening sky matched the mood of the town folks. A chill seemed to grip the souls of the innocent, and the wind howled through cracks in windows while a bloated, laughing moon peeked out from behind obsidian clouds.
And with the fall of night, the reign of the evil doers began. Locked doors and barred windows meant nothing to them. They waited, slavering in the blackness, until they decided who would die at their hands this night. Waited, patient as the gleeful moon. Waited...and then struck.
As the golden sun struggled to push back the night, the villagers emerged from their homes. They rubbed bleary eyes - sleep had not come easy, or deep, for the results of the last day's lynch had set heavy on their minds. Their unease only grew when not everyone came out to greet the newborn morn, and as they searched for those who were missing, they found only bodies instead.
soah was found tied to a chair, slumped over bloody and broken and dead. It seemed obvious that his wounds were the result of multiple assailants, so varied and grievous were the marks on his body. Now deceased, his role became clear.
Another search uncovered another corpse, this one sprawled on the floor between the bed and the door to the bedroom. Askthepizzaguy's eyes were permanently wide, as if his killer had surprised him, but they were blank now, devoid of any spark of life. A bullet wound was found in the center of his forehead.
Filled with dread and the creeping certainty that they would find more death, they entered the home of the last missing person. Cyan was also deceased, his body near the window of his bedroom, as if he had risen to check something that had stirred outside in the black of the night. A neat round hole pierced the glass, and a corresponding hole was found in his torso, the bullet piercing his heart.

Foolishness seems like a great place to start today, for fairly obvious reasons
For those of you who didn't post much yesterday, Devourer, Athexx, etc. It's absolutely imperative that you post and share lots of your thoughts today. Losing the full role seer this early puts us in a difficult, but far from irredeemable, spot, so now it's up to all of us to put in the requisite work to crush souls. If you're town then I think that will shine through in your posts, it certainly won't if you don't post :P
