I'm not going to find all the posts against me but the argument that I saw was not a very logical on. Within a few hours I was told that I was scum because I tried to bring attention to another player and I was told I was scum because I wasn't scum hunting. It seems that it would be impossible to do both.

Also my play fits my role and the way I went about doing this is also perfectly logical. Someone pointed out that it would be in my best interest to hunt scum. That's not true. My best interest is to stay alive. If I give good reads or bad reads and die because of those reads than I lose. All other town players can win if they die. So getting one scum player lynched and dying is a good trade off for any other town player.

I have a different issue. I had to decide which option was more likely to lead to me staying alive AND town winning.

1. I give a good effort and hope that scum won't kill me. This isn't a smart option for me. On my forum we can go and look at scum conversations during the game and I've been a scum player many times. Often the motivation for a kill is, "We should kill X because will make Y look bad." If I'm X and killing me doesn't make anyone look good or bad then scum are significantly less likely to kill me. So trying increases the odds that town win but drastically decreases my odds of survival.

2. I don't try at all and hope town wins. Honestly this one seems to have been working really well up to this point. I wasn't too obvious town and I wasn't too scummy. It was unlikely that I would be shot or lynched. I was assuming that there would be plenty of good town players around that would pick up the slack. This option gives me a really good chance of not dying and doesn't drastically decrease the chance of town wining. So this is what I went with.

The boredom factor also made option seem like a better move as well.

This is actually a genius post for a survivor. By saying this it shows that I am totally not interested in the game (which is somewhat true). Why would scum ever kill someone that is not trying, doesn't want to play, and won't get them lynched?

I RB'd him later in the game, by then I was RB'ing long shots. Same for my TF RB last night.
