Also, do you remember any posts you had commenting on Annie or giving reads about him. I know you said you didn't interact with him but I'd like to do some further analysis in case I'm wrong about you.

In any case, as much as I love the unnuanced "soft push = wolf" bit, try to look at things even a level further down:

When I feel confident in reads, I push them harder.

When I feel less confident in them, I give my thoughts but don't push very hard.

I'm not going to fake certainty that isn't there.

Early he was just blending in, so I don't have a great frame of reference. I only truly started paying a bunch of attention to him once it became clear that he was the wolves' only hope (CDL was still in but was peeked).

I pointed out the "volunteering to be read" thing yesterday but I dunno how strong it is.

Basically though, Steve won that game not through amazing deception but through very clearly outworking wahoo, TN, and the rest of the village down the stretch. It was largely through that alone that he seemed like a villager trying to solve the game. He was basically playing against inanimate objects.

Yes. The only thing you did to give me pause was a good case on hardcore last night, but it looks like he's probably a villager because of his claim so that loses some value.

No. Those were the three main wagons. Steve wasn't going to be one last night despite my wishes. And I thought they were legitimate wagons, so I was speaking about them.

I'm not going to fall into some silly trap of making conditional reads based on other reads that haven't been mechanically proven. A person can derail themselves for an entire game that way.

A vote count would be nice. Usually if I get wagoned I can try to parse out who are the wolves and who are the ones being the wolves' useful idiots (a historical term mind you, not a personal attack).

This one feels different because I legitimately have all of the ones that I know of (binkles, CT, SYF, TL) as possible wolves and there's no way the entire wolf team has just decided to congregate on one wagon today. I guess there's hardcore too, he's the likeliest villager of the bunch by far, but there have to be more villagers on there too.
