I'm trying to understand how range vs range equity works. For example I have a single hands A
J
and K
J
on J
9
3
against range{AA,QTs}
A
J
individually has equity 60.59% (given by propokertools/simulation)
K
J
individually has equity 33.93% (given by propokertools/simulation)
For range{ A
J
,K
J
} vs range{AA,QTs} I would expect those numbers to be added and divided by 2 to get range vs range equity. That would be (60.59 + 33.93) / 2 =
47.25%
However
propokertools/simulations gives me the result of
44.91%
Can anyone explain why my divided by 2 calculation is not correct here?
