Turning a straight into a bluff? Turning a straight into a bluff?

Played on Ignition last night. Don't know how much showdown value I have and I don't think I have enough 2 pairs to turn into bluffs. Thoughts? Still trying to figure out if this was terrible or not.

Not relevant to your question, but are you playing ignition HU cash? I can never find anyone on the 2 seat tables..

Rarely happens for me.

(I also play poker less than I used to and when I do play >80% of my action is at PLO, so I'm not too familiar with the hunl landscape on Ignition)

When the opponent checks the river on random hearts in this line you're going to have 0 showdown value regardless if you have a straight or two pair or a set. They are all valid hands to bluff with. That doesn't mean you should bluff all of those hands every time.

Yeah, I know. I'm just thinking about if I prefer the straight cause blockers.

Bluffing w no blockers there is really bad imo. Villian wouldn't have called 2 streets unless he had a good heart.
