Same building as most of my other in all of the posts we play a lot of heads up together and he's been winning a lot lately doing some pretty unconventional stuff but his overall somewhat solid But capable of sick deegen ****. Few weeks before this he straddled to 500 couple times then to $1000 in 5/10 heads up. Preflop he's playing with couple black chips and I say something like why not just straddle to 200 or just put them in this hand. Hand is dealt. He's button for 5 I'm big for 10. He looks af cards and puts his two black and one green in for raise to 225. I look down at pocket tens. Effective stacks 1000 ish to start hand

He rarely overbets in my experience and when he does it's usually nutty hands.

Sick spot I guess. Given description and how I asked him to do it this hand isn't this auto shove?

Spoilers. I shove.

Now say I decide to just call pre. Flop comes 954 with two clubs. Check raise all in? Open lead? Best way to play this? Thanks.

against this bizzare hand, id just shove over the top, no reason on calling at all imo, and if he has you Id say its a shame on the poker gods.

Why do we need a line check for when we call here? We should always be shoving this. Calling is just asking for a tough spot OTF.
