Same V from the other hand? Might just fold unless you plan on turning your hand into a bluff on a spade turn.

mp looks like a nit but he has uncommon 3-bet stats and fishy 3-bet sizing for an average nit, we have As which gives us bachdoor nfd and also we are underrepresented => I call.

It’s a fold, catching a bluff card will cost a lot+you don’t even know if he will fold an overpair. Calling is also not an option coz he’s gonna bet the turn most of the time and you will end up guessing.

*i think R/fold is the best option here, you can’t be wrong folding there

Kind of a gross spot. A nitty villain isn't going to have too much worse here when we block most of the possible flushes. AA-QQ is 10 combos. If he's 3-betting us with a polar range he'll have a couple of flush draws but not that many. AQs might be in his range but I would be surprised if a 17/12 nit is 3-betting AQo PF here. Maybe he can have KQs.

It seems like a really close decision. If we think his range is QQ+ and a handful of spades then we should probably fold, but if we think he can have AQs/KQs ever in this spot we probably shouldn't yet.

I'm leaning toward a call but I'm really not enjoying it.

I would raise the fish and then expect the nit behind you will play very honestly. Think fold is fine as played vs this guy.
